I'm not 100% sure but I think the RealTek Definition Audio replaced the Intel High Definition DSP entry. I no longer see Intel High Definition DSP, instead I have RealTek High Definition Audio (SST). I no longer have any devices that are not recognized. Once the PC had rebooted I checked the Device Manager. After reboot the installer continued and installed the driver. Go to the support page for your PC/Laptop on the manufacturers website, then download and install the audio device driver they recommend it will be older than your current driver, it will at least be compatible you can try this links too. The Realtek installer first uninstalled the existing driver and required a reboot. I downloaded the file 'Realtek High Definition Audio Driver for Intel® NUC Kits, Version: 6., Date: ' and unzipped the file to a directory and ran the setup file. I tried the link again today for the audio driver and now it works
